Windows 11 Installation
đź§° PART 1: Create a Windows 11 Installation USB
Step 1: Download the Media Creation Tool
- Go to Microsoft’s official website:
- Under "Create Windows 11 Installation Media", click Download Now.
- Run the downloaded tool.
Step 2: Create Bootable USB
It's recommended to use a 8GB USB-stick
- Accept license terms.
- Select language and edition.
- Choose USB flash drive (make sure it's plugged in).
- Select your USB drive from the list and click Next.
- The tool will download Windows 11 and create the bootable USB.
đź’» PART 2: Install Windows 11 (Clean Installation)
⚠️ This will erase everything on your system drive (usually C:). Make sure to back up your data.
Step 1: Boot from USB
- Insert the USB into the PC.
- Restart your computer.
- Press the Boot Menu key (usually F12, F10, Esc, or Del) repeatedly when the PC starts.
- Choose the USB drive from the boot menu.
If your PC doesn't boot from USB, you may need to:Enter BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressingDel
,F2
, etc.).Enable UEFI boot and Secure Boot.Set USB as the first boot device.
Step 2: Windows 11 Setup
- Choose language, time, and keyboard layout, then click Next.
- Click Install Now.
- I don’t have a product key is already assigned to the motherboard it self.
- Choose Windows 11 Pro.
- Accept license terms and click Next.
- Select Custom: Install Windows only (advanced).
- Select the drive/partition where Windows should be installed:
- Delete all existing partitions on the main drive (usually “Drive 0”) if you want a clean install.
- Select the unallocated space and click Next.
Windows setup will now install Windows 11. This process can take 10–30 minutes and your PC will restart several times.
Step 3: Set Up Windows 11
After the installation:
- Choose your region and keyboard layout.
- Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Sign in with a Microsoft account
- Follow the setup prompts (privacy settings, PC name, etc.).
- Wait for Windows to finish setting up.
âś… After Installation
- Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all updates.
- Install missing drivers (if needed, from your PC manufacturer’s site).
- Reinstall your apps and restore your files from backup.
